Ossians, is a no frills, economy hotel right in the centre of the town of Fort William.
Our residents lounge has a licensed bar, comfy sofas, games and books. We also have free tea and coffee and a friendly person to ask about your day.
We do NOT accept bookings for stag or hen nights.
Well behaved pets are welcome, but please let us know in advance so we allocate the correct room.
We offer a mix of double, twin, single and family rooms. All rooms are en-suite, have a TV, tea tray and wi-fi.
Don't expect 5 star luxury. We're an old building, and a bit worn and dated. The small single rooms are for one person only. The double rooms have 1 double bed, for 1 or 2 people. The Twin room has 2 single beds, for 1 or 2 people. A triple room has 1 double bed and 2 single beds. 3 beds, four people maximum. The quad room has 1 double bed, 1 single bed and bunk beds. 4 beds, 5 people maximum.
Sorry, but we don't do a cooked breakfast here. There are several places on the High Street which do.
Ossians Hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the train and bus stations, and 2 minutes from the end of the
West Highland Way, why travel any further for your room?
We have over 20 restaurants, 8 bars, and a variety of shops in the High Street, as well as The West Highland
Museum, Geo Park, library and indoor climbing wall. Perhaps you should book and extra night.
Whether you are taking a trip on the Jacobite steam train (aka the Harry Potter Train), climbing Ben Nevis, walking
one of the many long distance trails, or just relaxing and enjoying the scenery, this is an ideal base for all of these.
This is a town centre location, with pubs and entertainment close by, so please be aware that this is not a
quiet location. If, however, you are looking for a night out, then no better place to be.
