We have 2 amenity blocks. One on the main site and another on our Beech Grove site. They have been called 'immaculate', spotless and top class. Ladies and Gents toilets/showers, unisex disabled facilities/family bathroom, a laundry, kitchen with guests freezer and various recycling.

If you're looking for a great dog-friendly camping spot in Devon, then Oakdown will suit you down to the ground. Our tranquil holiday park near Sidmouth is perfect for a pet-friendly camping holiday. The well-designed park is spacious and open and it's great location means that it is easy to access plenty of dog-friendly walks close by. Pets are welcome around the park but are to be kept on a lead at all times and exercised off the park.

Clean Paws Dog Spa: With your canine friend in mind, the Oakdown team has designed and built this bespoke dog wash. It is equipped with a dog bath with a hot water shower and a doggie hair dryer - all free to use. The lighting in the hut is solar powered and the spa is open for use all day. We have also reduced the carbon footprint by using recycled materials from the site and local companies. Dog shampoo is available to purchase from our onsite shop and cafe.

You'll be given a warm welcome from our friendly Oakdown team, who will show you to your pitch on your arrival. We welcome guests with Touring Caravans, Motor Caravans, Tenting, Tents, Trailer Tents and folding campers who have a choice of a non-serviced pitch, serviced pitch, or a super-serviced pitch. R/Vs and American-style motorhomes are welcome on limited pitches.

Our park is a popular choice for those looking for top quality touring and camping in Devon. Our AA Platinum-graded site is home to thousands of trees and shrubs and the pitches are level, closely mown and very generous in size with parking by your unit. All pitches have electric hook-ups and three 'Groves'; have self-contained 'super pitches', each serviced with water, electric hook-up and drainage.

Our park is also home to a range of fantastic facilities - all designed to make your stay with us as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Don't forget to pack your clubs! - Oakmead golf course is adjacent to our onsite shop & cafe and offers a well presented 9 hole par 3 course with some challenging holes for any ability.
